Multicrystalline silicon PV cell efficiency hits 20%

Based on average conversion efficiency of solar cells mass production, 72 cells module will reach 330W that is 15W higher than normal 315W module.

Wuxi Suntech announces that its highest mass production conversion efficiency of multicrystalline silicon solar cell has reaches 20%.

The HyPro module, introduced in April 2015, reached its highest cell conversion efficiency of 21.3% in June 2016.

According to the average conversion efficiency of the mass production of multicrystalline silicon PERC solar cells, 72 cells module will reach 330W that is 15W higher than the normal 315W module.
