Mango DSP introduced the Raven X2 PC104+, a video server designed to meet the requirements of outdoor and mobile surveillance needs. The Raven X2 PC 104 has met the Cisco Technology developer program criteria for interoperability with the Cisco 3200 wireless video router and is suitable for police cars and unmanned devices. The design is packaged in a rugged form factor for extreme environments.

Features of the Raven X2 104+ include license plate recognition, motion detection, intelligent IP video, facial recognition, digital video recording, video conferencing, video sharing per incident, universal camera support and an interface for data and voice integration to security applications. The combined design will present a high-performance router with rugged, flexible design by Cisco IOS Router, supporting cellular modems and future wireless technologies (1xEVDO, 4.9GHz, WiMAX). The Mango IVS software uses video analytic software from content analysis providers, allowing it to detect and classify items according to pre-defined rules. Backend server architecture provides a user-friendly, graphic-based management tool enabling control over rules and alerts. The video server enables connectivity of up to two analog cameras, one analog video output and will support MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MJPEG and H.264 codecs.

The device is available now.
