Infineon Technologies have signed three separate Memorandums of Understanding to boost innovation in Singapore at OktoberTech Asia Pacific 2019

Singapore, October 25, 2019 – Infineon Technologies (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) today signed three separate Memorandums of Understanding to boost innovation in Singapore at OktoberTech Asia Pacific 2019.

1. ST Engineering Land Systems, Xnergy and Infineon

ST Engineering’s Land Systems arm will collaborate with Xnergy, a wireless charging partner, to incorporate wireless charging to the next generation of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), allowing it to operate within a clean room environment at Infineon’s Smart Factory. The first trial will take place in early 2020, allowing ST Engineering to apply its robotics system expertise in an advanced manufacturing setting.

3. Singapore Polytechnic and Infineon

Singapore Polytechnic and Infineon have set up the Singapore Polytechnic-Infineon Innovation Centre to accelerate ideas to prototype solutions focusing on IoT and robotics applications. The Innovation Centre will enable students to conceptualize microelectronics solutions for their problem statements within a short time.
