Raltron Electronics Corp., the U.S.-based supplier of frequency management devices, has been bought for an undisclosed sum by Rami Technology Group of Hong Kong.

Founded in 1983, Raltron appointed Rami its global distributor last August.

Raltron stressed in a July 5 statement the company will continue to market its complete range of products under the Raltron name, as it continues to manufacture at its Miami, Florida headquarters facility and its other Asian manufacturing sites.

Rami Technology Group said it would operate Raltron as a subsidiary, continuing to support worldwide sales operations through authorized representatives and stocking distributors.

Raltron develops and makes a broad range of crystal units and crystal-based oscillators, including VCXO, TCXO and OCXO and other frequency control products
