Compact spray valve promises uniform, accurate spray control

The cost-effective 781Mini series from Nordson targets applications of low-to-medium viscosity fluids in a range of industries such as mobile devices and wearables, electronics and life sciences.

Nordson EFD has rolled out its 781Mini series low volume, low pressure (LVLP) spray valve flaunting an enhanced design aimed at smaller, more uniform spray patterns and dispensing capabilities in complex, more compact spaces, with consistent area coverage as small as 1mm wide. The device features an improved spray nozzle design that enables it to direct nozzle air pressure with greater accuracy, better spray pattern uniformity and edge definition, indicated the company.

Its precision spray control makes it ideal for applications of low-to-medium viscosity fluids in a range of industries such as mobile devices and wearables (display applications), electronics and life sciences, added Nordson.

Other features include a quick release (QR) clasp for fast servicing and minimal downtime. In addition, its 360° rotational fluid body provides flexible positioning for faster setup. Its modular, highly configurable design lowers cost of ownership, the company stated.
